How do I return an item?
What is the PGC Scientific return policy ?

1. What is the PGC Scientifics return policy?
Please inspect your PGC Scientifics shipment upon receipt. If any external damage is noticed, accept the shipment only after the driver has noted the damage on both his and your copies of the delivery receipt and you have requested an inspection by the carrier. Keep all containers and packing material for inspection. If, upon opening a shipment, you find a shortage or damage, you must request inspection by the carrier within 7 days of delivery or you will relinquish your right to make a claim. PGC Scientific reserves the right to repair a damaged product, where applicable, before replacement or credit is determined. Product Return Policy PGC Scientifics will provide a 7 day conditional "Date of Receipt" Return policy. If a customer receives an item and decides the item is not what they need, the purchaser will pay the shipping charges to return the item to PGC Scientifics and a 25% re-stocking fee will apply. All returns must be authorized by PGC Scientifics in order to insure proper Store credit and received within 7 days of product arrival. To ensure proper store credit, each Product return must include the following information:
1. Customer Name, Address, Department, Phone
2. Purchase Order Number
3. PGC Scientifics Order Number
4. Date of Invoice
5. Product Code of Returned Item(s)
6. PGC Scientifics Return Merchandise Authorization Number
7. Reason for Return Products not authorized for return include:
      1. Products not in re-saleable condition with manuals & software, including packaging.
      2. Open chemicals, diagnostics, or any controlled products (contact customer service if you are not sure about product)
      3. Refrigerated or perishable products
      4. Custom or special orders
      5. Products expired or with expiration date to soon for resale.
      6. Discontinued or resold products (Example if sold to another lab) Hazardous Materials Hazardous Chemicals and Equipment must include:
      1. Packed and labeled in accordance with DOT regulations & in ordinance with to transportation of hazardous materials.
      2. Shipping documents must also meet DOT regulations
      3. Certification from an officer of the company that the equipment was properly decontaminated (Decontamination Sheet)
      4. Customer arranges shipping back to shipping address & customer is responsible for all shipping charges for returned equipment.
      5. PGC Scientifics Order Number
      6. Date of Invoice
      7. Product Code of Returned Item(s)
      8. PGC Scientifics Return Merchandise Authorization Number should be placed on outside of package
      9. Reason for Return Hazardous Shipments must be properly packaged, labeled and in accordance with DOT regulations. International Shipments PGC Scientifics does not extend warranties beyond or outside of manufacturer's original warranties to any country outside of the United States of America.
